O’ Be Joyful

Most mornings when I’m cleaning the kitchen, this is what I listen to:

Thankfully, “Birmingham” is the first track so I usually just hit the play button and walk away, ready to wipe down counters and unload the dishwasher.  Sometimes I even make the dogs dance with me. They don’t seem to mind.

I remember telling my husband not too long ago that this band is one that I’d be willing to pay a lot of money to hear perform live. As it happens, Shovels & Rope will be playing in Oklahoma City the night before Halloween. O’ be joyful! I know I am.
